Christie Post joined The Now Tampa Bay on ABC Action News in 2014.

She’s a Colorado girl now living where she always wanted to be – on the water!

Prior to moving to the bay, she worked for KEYE-TV in Austin, Texas as a reporter and fill-in anchor. She covered one of the worst floods in Texas history, music festivals like Austin City Limits, the X Games and put her comedic side to the test with all that “Keeps Austin Weird”.

Christie also worked for KCBD-TV in Lubbock covering former Texas Tech football coach Mike Leach’s controversy.

Her experience extends to COX 7 Arizona, and National Basketball Association Entertainment where she interviewed professional athletes like LeBron James and Kobe Bryant at the NBA All Stars and Finals.

In her stint in Los Angeles she interned at EXTRA TV and Style Network where she helped at red carpets events for movies like Transformers, as well as working on sets such as How Do I Look?.

Christie is a proud Sun Devil  graduating from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.

In her free time you can find her working out, riding her pink cruiser on Bayshore Blvd or taking a dip in the ocean. She is also a foodie, an event connoisseur and loves anything adventurous.
