Born and raised in Michigan, it’s fantastic to be back.
I graduated from Central Michigan University with my bachelors degree in Meteorology and then it was off to West Virginia. I had the pleasure of doing a little bit of everything at WTAP-TV in Parkersburg. My main duties involved forecasting the weather, but I also dabbled in anchoring, producing, reporting and even got a taste of the sports world.
After a year and a half in the Mountain State, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to return to Michigan. I’ll be bringing you the forecast Sat-Sun nights on FOX 2, and filling in where needed. Unfortunately I can’t bring you the typical meteorologists’ story — the one where they fall in love with the weather during a trip to Grandma’s house when they were 6 yrs old, and a tornado tore through the neighborhood. It wasn’t until college when I decided that a future in weather was for me.
A little about me.
I am a Michigan State enthusiast, I try to stay active (key word TRY) and nothing beats a good book, except maybe a good meal.
