Edward Moody joined WCCO-TV as a reporter and weekend anchor in August 2012.
A native of Kansas City, Mo., Edward has actually worked in Minnesota before. He worked as a morning anchor in Duluth, Minn., but his most recent job was working as an anchor/reporter at Fox59 in Indianapolis.
He also worked at WHAM-TV in Rochester, N.Y. for three years.
Edward graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Degree in Communication Studies. Over the course of his career Edward has covered everything from the Red Lake school shootings in northern Minnesota to the disappearance of IU student Lauren Spierer, and has interviewed such notables as Caroline Kennedy, Operation Desert Storm commander Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf and Martin Luther King III.
Edward has had the journalism bug since he was 10 years old, when he was hired as an anchor/reporter for the nationally syndicated, Emmy Award-winning kids’ magazine show “The What’s Up Network.”
