Brian Neudorff is the Chief Meteorologist.
Before joining KMVT, Brian worked for 3 years he worked as the morning meteorologist for WROC-TVin New York. Brian is a Midwesterner, growing up in the small central Indiana town of Martinsville.
Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Purdue University. He was active in the Purdue Bands as a trumpet player. It was that love of music and performing jazz that made Brian decide to go into broadcast meteorology.
Brian is also a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM), an accreditation awarded by the American Meteorological Society. He also holds his seal of approval from the National Weather Association.
Brian’s love for the weather began even before he entered grade school. Living in Indiana, he grew up with severe storms and just that power and beauty had him hooked. As a child Brian was a regular viewer of The Weather Channel and local weather programs.
When Brian’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports especially his Purdue Boilermakers and NASCAR and is excited about taking advantage all the natural beauty and outdoor activities Southern Idaho has to offer. Brian lives in Twin Falls with his wonderful wife Trisha and his three sons, “the twins” Ryan and Zachary, and their youngest, Alexander.
